Bob Simpson and his staff, both at the Legislature in Victoria and at his constituency office in Quesnel, needed to recover from a bad experience with an unprofessional, unethical web designer. They turned to me to re-create their website on an open source framework that they would be able to take to any other web designer should they feel the need to switch designers again. They are thrilled with both the logo and with the website that I created for them.
Brian Pridham is a men’s stylist, fashion consultant, and personal shopper in Victoria BC. He wanted a clean, modern website that reflects his aesthetic of retro-modern chic. We worked together to focus his message and convey a professional yet casual atmosphere in both the visual and written aspects of his site. Pura Vida Fitness is a local Victoria Bootcamp and fitness business that was acquired by Cara Obee. She inherited the website which she found cumbersome, hard to use, and difficult to keep updated. Together we designed an easy to use WordPress website with some customized feature photos that reflect the spirit of movement and fun of Pura Vida Fitness.
The Home Of Good Hope soup kitchen in the Katatura Township on the outskirts of Windhoek, Namibia Africa was started by a remarkable local woman named Dolly Greene. I have been honoured to help out her cause by donating the design of a logo and website. I’ll also be visiting the soup kitchen in December (2011) with my family to meet some of the kids and help out.

Horse Play Parties in Duncan BC hosts horse themed parties and vacations. Using the long-running ‘Pony Party’ as a jumping-off point, I worked with Shannon Thomas to brand a number of new party and vacation themes and to create a website which reflects a fun, outdoors-y feel.
I worked with Tim to brand The Norah House Retreat in Ucluelet, BC. Together we created a distinctive logo which reflects the sunset and waves that the Long Beach area is renowned for as well as the ‘rustic luxury’ that the Norah House is known for.
